HELLO FELLOW PLANESWALKER! For those of you that have not already figured this out on your own, have some Cockatrice =D
Links from the above image are in the post below if you’re lazy
My babies <3 I need 4 more cards and then my Eggs deck is finally done and I can stop borrowing my brothers fetches and shocklands.
Hazezon Tamar EDH and Amulet of Vigor combo decks are like 90% proxies at the moment, and my 12 Post deck is about 50% proxied, though I’m not expecting that to be done anytime soon, since it runs Show and Tell, Candelabra of Tawnos, and Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale, and those cards alone are like $600, I think it should be done though by the time i start school next year because I want to start playing legacy and modern kinda competitively.
Oh, and I think I’ll be deck-teching the Amulet of Vigor combo deck. I’ve only ever seen the list once, and the list I found is highly unreliable and inconsistent, so I’ll be fiddling with that all week and you guys can expect a deck tech sometime this weekend, or next Monday at the latest =)

I found this awesome blog, wordofcommander.blogspot.com/, and there’s everything from deck advice to a tutorial on how to make your own proxies. go check it out if you feel like wasting a few hours (now that finals are starting to wrap up you have no excuse =P )
this will be added to a new EDH section on our resources page, as well as links to the MYG Salvation Wiki’s guide to digital rendering.
I hope no one wanted to buy it, cuz loyal retainers is in it. its going to cost like $200 for the whole arsenal, if not more

Well, Venser has always been one of my favorite planeswalkers, so I’ve decided to make a few decks based around him. Venser calls for a very specific deck to be played in, so these decks are all going to be flicker and blink decks (i plan on posting a few of the deck lists) but they’re all in different color combinations. This one relies on stalling very late into the game to win, all the while cancelling spells, exiling their creatures, and preventing them from attacking. If the opportunity arises, you can win by making your creatures unblockable with Venser’s -2 ability, but most of the time this deck will just stall until you can pop off Venser’s -8 and get his emblem, allowing you to exile a permanent whenever you cast a spell, at which point most opponents usually forfeit the match.
Its a fun deck to play but requires patience to use properly.
1. Favorite color: Simic all day err day (Green and Blue)
2. Least Favorite Color: Probably Red or Black. Idk why but i never find myself feeling inclined to play them
3. Favorite Card: Venser, the Sojourner and Progenitus
4. Least Favorite Card: Doom blade, Go for the Throat, Vapor Snag… Spot removal makes me cringe
5. Favorite Deck I Own: My Venser Flicker deck, Humans, and Havengul Lich Combo Deck for Standard, but my Elves are my all time favorite
6. Favorite Deck I Do Not Own: Mutavault Clone-Fish
7. Least Favorite Decks to Play Against: Uninventive combo decks.
8. Favorite Ravnica Guild: Simic (as stated above)
9. Your EDH General: Rafiq of the Many, Experiment Kraj, Progenitus, Omnath, the list goes on and on
10. Favorite Format: I can dig them all but modern, and occasionally standard
11. When Did You Start Playing: i played kamigawa into ravnica then picked up again at Rise of the Eldrazi
12. Favorite Block: Kamigawa or Innistrad
13. Favorite Mechanic: Flash, Trample, and Protection w/ either First or Double Strike
14. Favorite Creature Type: Humans, Slivers, Elves, and Elementals
15. What kinds of effects/game states do you love most: Surprise things that make your opponent hate the move they just made, when you have a ton of little things out on the field and you cast Craterhoof behemoth, or casting Spare from Evil for the win
any suggestions?
So today’s Deck of the Day is my attempt at a Dragon Devour deck.
2x Hellkite Charger
3x Predator Dragon
3x Dragonspeaker Shaman
4x Goblin Arsonist
3x Hellkite Hatchling
2x Dragon Broodmother
4x Birds of Paradise
2x Preyseizer Dragon
8x Forest
8x Mountain
2x Kessig Wolf Run
4x Rootbound Crag
3x Seething Song
3x Caravan Vigil
3x Dragon Fodder
2x Crucible of Fire
2x Warstorm Surge
2x Sarkhan Vol
So basically what you do is you mana ramp and swarm goblins and tokens until you can play a dragon that can eat them, have it enter the battlefield (hopefully with Warstorm Surge out on the battlfield along with Crucible of Fire for a little extra fun.) and start swinging. The other dragons dont get pumped up with devour, but they help out by dealing damage or granting another combat phase and untapping your creatures, with Sarkhan Vol to pump your creatures and make more tokens with his last ability.
Comments are more than welcome!

Greeting’s folks! Today’s DotD is another EDH deck, since EDH is my favorite format of all time.
This time, instead of dragons, it’s an artifact extravaganza, with Sharuum as your host!
General - Sharuum the Hedgemon
Land
Artifacts/Artifact Creatures/Creatures
Other
Essentially, it’s just an artifact aggro deck, with a tiny tiny tiny bit of control. It’s main focus is to bounce things with Venser with all of the “When _____ Enters the battlefield” type effects. It’s not perfect, I know, but it has great potential. Whenever I feel like it’s finished I’ll post the improved decklist.
Until then, Happy Planeswalking!!
